Sergeant S. H. Sharp, son of Mrs. J. W. Sharp, 35, Gavin Street, Ellerslie, has been posted missing on air operations on May 6. Educated at the Ellerslie School and Auckland Grammar School, Sergeant Sharp left New .Zealand for Canada in October, 1940. He left Canada for Britain in the following June, and was posted to a Wellington bomber squadron.
