Mr. R. K. Law told the House of Commons that the British Government had no doubt of the Emperor of Ethiopia's intention to abolish slavery. He had appointed or would shortly appoint Britons as advisers to his Ministers of Finance, Justice, Interior, Commerce, Communications, Post and Telegraphs and Education, two as judges and two others a3 advisers on the municipal and medical services. There was no detailed information yet about the appointment of police officials by the Emperor.
