SERIOUS OFFENCES
Found guilty of a sexual offence against a boy, Thomas John Mannex, apiarist, aged 26 years (Mr. Aekins), was sentenced by Mr. Justice Fair in the Supreme Court to three years imprisonment with hard labour. Charles McDonald Keith, a married man (Mr. Aekins), for whom his wife made a plea, was put on probation for three years for an offence against a young girl. Harold Osmond Wilcock, aged 30 (Mr. Burt), found guilty of an indecent act. was sentenced by Mr. Justice Callan to reformatory detention for twelve monLiS.
