Mr. Ohlson was a school teacher by profession and was stationed at many schools in the Auckland Province, among them being Warkworth, Pukekohe, Beresford Street and Newmarket. He finished his teaching career by being headmaster at Maungawhau for 15 years. He travelled extensively and visited Great Britain with the 1924 All Blacks. He witnessed three Davis Cup matches—in Auckland, Philadelphia, U.S.A., and France. He represented Auckland both at Rugby and cricket and in his early days was a noted runner. Mr. Ohlson is survived by his wife and four sons, Messrs. E. M. D. and A. B. Ohlson. Auckland. Mr. A. W. M. Ohlson, Waiuku. and Mr. F. B. Ohlson. Kaikoura. There are seven grandchildren.
