REMUERA ELECTORATE
There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Remuera branch of the National party, which was held in the Remuera Library last evening. Mr. J. B. Paterson presided. The member for the electorate, Mr. W. P. Endean, gave an address on the war situation, and Mr. A. McKenzie, chairman of the Auckland division, also spoke. The following officers were elected: Chairman, Mr. J. B. Paterson; vicechairman, Mr. W. S. Ralph; assistantsecretary, Mr. C. E. Tomlinson; treasurer, Mr. A. L. Gee. It was decided that the ladies should call a meeting to elect six delegates to the committee.
