New insurance rates to cover goods from the time they leave the warehouse until their delivery at the final destination have been arranged by British insurance interests. The aim is to protect commerce against the exceptional risks and delays of war. Provision is made against transhipment and the substitution of one destination for another in an interrupted voyage. For this extra cover additional premiums apply as follow:— Australia or New Zealand to or from the United Kingdom, free of particular average, plus 10 per cent; with average, plus 15 per cent; fuller conditions, plus 40 per cent. The same rates apply to the United States and Canada, and special arrangements can be made for other voyages.
