SOCIETY OF ARTS GRANT.

A grant of £100 for the purchase of reproductions of old and modern masters to be used in educational work has been received from the Carnegie Corporation by the Auckland Society of Arts. Mr. Gross also stated that owing to difficulties arising from the war many country organisations had been prevented from availing themselves of the society's exhibitions and lecture sessions.
