FINAL FOR ROOPE ROOSTER TROPHY.

THREE PHELAN SHIELD CONTESTS.

Possession of the Eoope Rooster trophy will .be contested at Oarlaw Park tomorrow afternoon, when, in the final, Richmond, the champion senior team, will play Ponsonby. Both teams will be strongly represented, and a keen game is anticipated. Richmond has a well balanced side, strong both in the forwards and backs, and throughout the season good combination has been a feature. Ponsonby is regarded as having a good chance in view of the team's remarkable display against a strong Mount Albert side last Saturday, when, through the brilliance of the Ponsonby backs, a big score was recorded. Ponsonby has the advantage of having a specialist hooker in Flanagan, and brilliant attacking backs in Kay. Riley and Nurse. The early match on the No. 1 ground will be between Mount Albert and North Shore (for the Phelan Shield), and an even contest Is anticipated. Other games in that competition are Marist v.
