FIGHTING SIDE BY SIDE,
MELBOURNE, Sept. 25,
Major-General Sir John Duigan, New Zealand Chief of Staff, and GroupCaptain H. W. L. Saunders, Chief of Air Staff, were guests at a reception given to-day by the Lord Mayor of Melbourne. "Australia and New Zealand are standing together and will continue to fight side by side to bring the war to a successful conclusion," said Sir John Duigan. He added that the military visit for staff talks had achieved something. New Zealand was Australia's little brother and would do its part. *
