TEACHERS' TRAINING.

It is with dkgwt that I read of the Government's intention to take our Teachers* Training College for a hospital, with so many young teacher* half through their training and mqre waiting for admission. Surely there are educated men in the Cabinet to protest and stop such a procedure. Why not stop storage market, radio, Jean Batten Place and other needless buildings and use the money saved for hospital buildings, or hold an art union? > In the Xorth Shore area we have no hospital, despite my several requests to the Government to build one. although we have nearly 20.000 people in Devonport (the square mile area) alone. H. McLEAX.
