COAL MINE IDLE.
TROUBLE OVER PAY TICKETS. GREYMOUTH, this day. The Liverpool mine is idle to-day owing to a dispute in .connection with the issue of pay tickets. It it? customary to have tickets issued the morning 'before pay day (to-morrow), but this morning the tickets were not available for the truckers and wages men owing to pressure of work in the mines office. The hands held a stop-work meeting and decided to go home.—Press Assn.
