CRITICISM IN DUNEDIN.
DUNEDEn, this day. Importers liave not yet mastered the voluminous import schedules, and city criticism to-day centred on two main points, first, the holding of importers strictly to December for the third and fourth period licenses when shipping facilities were so uncertain, and secondly, the refused granting of a license to cover a group of items, since this arrangement could not affect steiling funds. One critic said the Government by continuing the piecemeal method min-ht save some pounds on individual licenses where an importer could not fully use them, but this was an attitude ' that was neither fair nor equitable.— i (Press Assn 1
