OBITUARY.

CAPTAIN H. G. MENZIES. The death has occurred in Auckland of Captain H. G. Menziee, aged 66. Captain Menzies, who retired than a year ago, was for many yeare in the service of the Kaipara Steamship Company, and was the master of the Ethel, which ran between Dargaville and Tangiteroria. He came ashore as the company's agent at Dargaville 24 years'ago, and five yeare later was transferred to Helens ville, where he. remained until hie retirement. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
