PRISON FOR MOTORIST.
INTOXICATION CHARGE. DABGAVILLE, this day. In the Magistrate's Court this morning, John Fenton, a married man, aged 23, appeared before Messrs. B. Berry and F. A. Jones, J.P.'s, charged with being intoxicated While in charge of a motor car in Dargaville on Friday. He was sentenced to seven days' imprisonment in the Dargaville gaol, and his license was cancelled for the balance of the current year.— (Press Assn.)
