FALL DOWN SHIP'S HOLD.
INJURIES PROVE FATAL. GISBORNE, this day. Herbert Munro Hughes, aged 18, a half-caste Maori, died in the Te Puia Hospital yesterday from injuries received when he fell down the hold of the steamer Kopara, in which he was assisting to discharge cargo at Hick's Bay last week.—(Press Assn.)
