TIDAL WAVE'S GUINEAS. NEW ZEALAND-BRED COLT. SYDNEY, September 22. New Zealand-bred horses were prominent in the chief events at the Red Cross benefit race meeting at Randwick yesterday, Beau Vite and High Caste finishing first and second in the Hill Stakes and Tidal Wave winning the Rosehill Guineas. Tidal Wave, who is trained by J. T. Jamieson, realised top price, 1450 guineas, at the yearling sales at Trentham in 1939. Yours Truly ran unplaced in the Red Cross Cup, and Nightbeam in the A.I.F. Handicap. Details are:— EOSEHILL GUINEAS of £1850, and silver plaque value £21*. Colts and geldings 8.5, allies 8.0. .Nine furlong*. TIDAL WAVE (N.Z.-bred). ch c. by Tiderace— My Own (Mrs. C. C. Blmvell Panchlo, Plnero, Fearless Fox, Flying Knight Tidal Wave finishing strongly in the last furlong and won by half a neck from Pandect, who beat Lucrative by a neck. Time. 1.55%. „,....
