MUSEUM LECTURE.

Mr. A. B. McKinnon, of the Forestry Department, was the speaker at the Sunday afternoon lecture given in the War Memorial Museum yesterday afternoon. Mr. McKinnon gave a short description of the Waipoua. State Forest and dealt wi*h the regeneration of forest from scrub land. An interesting point raised was that the kauri forest of the next generation would be reconstituted at a slightly different site from the present one.
