IN BOMBED LONDON HOTEL. (Reed. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON", Sept. 20. Major-Gcncral William Hugh Usher Smith and Mr*. Smith were both killed in a bombed hotel in London. General Usher Smith. C.T!.. (.BE., served in the Boer War and was several times decorated. During the Great War he was on active service until 191(5. gaining distinction in several fields. In 1925-20 he was Directing Ordnance Officer. I
