FATAL ACCIDENT SEQUEL. MORRINSVILLE, this day. As a sequel to an accident on the Tahuna-Morrinsville main highway on July 4 Edward Harold Alexander, motor driver, was charged at the Morrinsville Magistrate's Court before Messrs. L. Echlin and H. Kirk, J.P.'s, with negligent driving, thereby causing the death of Vernon Charles Young. Accused pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial to the Supreme Court at Hamilton, bail being allowed in his own recognisance of £li) 0. The prosecution was conducted by Senior-Sergeant A. McHugh, of Hamilton, and Mr. E. McGregor, of Morrinsville, appeared for accused.
