NEW LIFE.
Brooms will wear out, no matter iiow carefully they are treated. They must not, however, be thrown away. It's always the tips or rather short sides where the hairs grow tliin, but frequently the centre is as good as over. Here is a way to give them a new life: Take «, saw and carefully cut away a piece of the broom's head each side. This will make the head smaller, but you will have a practically new broom. When you have done the sawing take n fairly strong piece of sandpaper and smooth off the edges.
