Sellers of Auckland Gas stood off at 9/, and Claude Neon (N.Z.) had buyers up to £1 0/6, with holders asking £1 4/. Among debentures Auckland Harbour Boards were offered in five issues. Bnnk of New Zealand were easier at noon, but Broken Hill Proprietary were up, and Wilsons Cement recorded an advance of 3d.
