INFANT'S DEATH.

The coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, openei an inquest this morning into the deatl of the 27-day-old infant child of Mr i and Mrs. William Thomson, of 43, Duk« Street, Mount Roskill. The father gave evidence that the child was fed and placed in its cot on i Wednesday night apparently in good health. At ten minutes to six next morning the mother arose and on going ito the cot found the child stiff.
