ENTRY TO NAVY.
DOMINION CANDIDATES. AUCKLAND VOLUNTEERS. WELLINGTON, Thursday. An additional 36 New Zealand candidates have left the Dominion to join the Royal Xaval Volunteer Reserve (Imperial), in accordance with the system of special entry. Ten of them were selected in terms of scheme A, which is for candidates between 30 and 40 with certain stipulated qualifications. The remainder came under scheme B, which is for candidates between 20 and 25, and between 25 and 30 with matriculation. The list includes the following Aucklanders:— Scheme A.—Frederick E. Merrltt, James F. O'Neill (Auckland). Scheme B.—Russell B Reehal (Pukefcohe). Donald A. McLennan (Thames), Frederick B. Hargrare (Hoklanga). Robert C. Urquhart, Allan E. Wilson. Alan D. Tweedle. Lan E. Rlckerby. Athol F. O'Connor. William H. K Mollerd. John F. Mallltte. Philip S. HiThinson. Giles C. Baden. William D. Goodfellow. Rex. A. Ouder, Alan L. Cato. Rarold O. Wrlghtson. John F. W.
