DIED IN BED.
DEATH OF PACKER. A verdict that death was due to heart failure wae returned to-day by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, when he concluded an inquest opened into the death of Norman Beaumont Perry, clothing packer, aged 35, who lived at 2, Fisherton Street, Grey Lynn. Evidence was given by the widow that on August 29 her husband complained of feeling ill and retired to bed about 0.30 p.m. Thinking he was suffering from indigestion she pr-.vrured medicine from, a chemist. About 3.30 next morning he got up and made a cup of tea and then returned to bed. At 5.30 witness heard him groaning avd iriM to awaken him, but could not do so. She then sent for Dr. F. C. Shortt. Witness eaid that in May, 1939, her husband fell off a bicycle and received a fracture to the skull. He was in hospital three week*.
