Mount Albert showed good all-round form last Saturday, and Ponsonby care a "brilliant exhibition of team play. Mount Albert may have an advantage over Ponsonby In the forwards, but the Ponsonby backs are fast and combine well, and that might prove for them a winning factor. Richmond, the champion team of the season. will play Papakura In the early match on the No. 1 ground, in view of Unproved form of the ■atter team, a good match Is likely. Two Phelan Shield matches will be played on the No. 2 ground. Early. Manukau will meet Marlst, and the following fame will be between City and Otahuhu. The North Shore and Newton teams will play at Devonport. a match which m:-.y decide the position of runner-up to Richmond in the senior competition. If North Shore defeats Newton the former team will be the runner-up, but in the event of defeat North Shore and Mount Albert will be level for the position.
