DYNASTY IMPROVES.
AMIGO SPRINTS WELL. TRAINING AT WAHGANUI WANGANUI, Thursday. The weather was fine for the final gallops of candidates for Marton, and the course proper was in good order, although a heavy dew deadened going i'Or gallops before, breakfst. Homily (W. and Dynasty (K. Chote) were associated in a run over five furlongs, keeping together and, without being kicked out, they registered 1.3V6. Homily will be making her first appearance this term, and she will contest the Marton Handicap, which event ehe won last year. Although ehe will need a race or two to bring her to her best, the Posterity mare is in great heart and should keep the best pf the others busy. Dynasty has come on well since racing at Awapnni early this month, and he must be Lard to beat in the distance hack event. Vaalsetar claims an engagement in the hack eprint as well as the distance event, but will probably run in the latter. He ran a 'mile this morning in 1.46, the first half in 525. j. v • Amigo (K. Chote) went six furlongs by himself ,to register 1.14 4-5. It was a rattling good gallop,, and, despite the fact that he will be having his first race of the season, the Beau Pere gelding should make a bold bid. Hingcraft; (W. Rayner) and All Bunsby (K. Chote) were companions in a spin over half a mile. Beginning very emartlj-, Ringcraft was the early leader, but was steadied, and thepair kept together until near ing the post, when Ringcraft drew out too beat All Bunsby by a length in 50 3-ss. Although Belle Cane has been allowed to drop out. of her Marton engagement, there is nothing amiss with the Beau Pere filly. Belle Cane has gone on the right way since racing ait Awapuni, and, if taken to Auckland with Sir Beau, should run prominently in her engagements, ad she is very epeedy. Sir Beau has done well since winning the Yv angantii Guin-os, and his meeting with Beau Leon in the E/llerelie classic should invest that race with great interest.
