TAXI OPERATORS.
REVIEW OF LICENSES. It is almost a year since the No. 1 Transport Licensing Authority, Mr. E J Phelan, licensed taxi-operators in the town area, which extends to Papakura south of the city, to a line drawn from the West Coaet to Kumeu, and thence to the Puke-atua-Silverdahf main highway, north of the city. There are a considerable number of licensee, which will be reviewed at an early date, and operatore will be required to satisfy the. Authority that all requirements have been met. and that regulations have been fully complied with. Early next month a'sittinj* will be held at Devonport to investisate. conditions in regard to taxis on of the harbour.
