AWARUA'S FLIGHT.

SYDNEY TO AUCKLAND.

Beating her previous east-bound flying time record of 7h 49m, the flying boat Awarua, of Tasman Empire Airways, Limited, arrived from Sydriey this afternoon after a flight of 7h 31m. She left Sydney at' three minutes after six o'clock this morning, New Zealand time.

The passengers were: Meedames D. Barnett, E. Ford, B. S. Mathews and Messrs. D. Chambers, H. Crosby F. Dougall, A. MacGiLlivray, D. Robertson and E. Scherp. Captain 0. Garden was in command.
