Baby Sandy is the central figure of "Sandy Iβ A Lady," the special feature which opens a season- at the Majestic to-morrow. Thie two-year-old baby is now s a world-famous screen star. She had a role with Bin'g Crosby in "East Side of Heaven," and her natural aptitude for work before the camera induced Universal Studio officials to sign her on contract. She was then featured in two subsequent films, "Unexpected Father" and "Little Accident," before it was decided to bestow on her tiny shoulders the accolade of stardom. In "Sandy Is A Lady" she shows that --she ' has brought her'art, to perfection and five of the cinema's funny men go through their antics to provide the infant with the necessary background. The five are Mischa Auer. Billy Gilbert, Eugene Pallette, Edgar Kennedy and Fritz Feld. In the film, Sandy, who is also assisted by the , Jit tie tornadoes, Butch and Buddy, of the "Underpup" fame, walks girders, oblivious of the excitement below, saves a restaurant from a 'bomb explosion and brings fortune to her father. This is a picture full of fun and laughter.
