WELLINGTON NOMINEES. 1941 SELECTION AUTHORISED. t '■,;' , : S WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Victoria University College nominations ior Rhode* Scholarships were decided by the Professorial Board today. They are Norman Andrew Morrison, at present a pilot-officer engaged in instructional duties at Wigram, and Ronald John Corkill, a •member of the staff of the correspondence school, of Wellington. Mr. Morrison, who ia M, is an LL.B and is sitting for hi* LL.M. this rear. Mr. Corkill is also 24, and has hia B.A. and Dip.Ed. degrees. He is sitting for honours in English this year. Whether New Zealand Rhodes Scholars will go to Oxford next year is still uncertain. The Rhodes trustees have authorised the selection of 1941 scholars, V-1 have reserved the right not to take them at Oxford if circumstances do not waxrant it.—(Press Aasn.)
