THE WAGE INCREASE

TRANSPORT DRIVERS. EXCLUSION DECLINED. An application for the exclusion from the operation of the general order of August 9 increasing wages by 5 per cent of drivers and assistants employed in the goods-transport services under the Transport Licensing Act was the subject of decision by the Arbitration Court to-day. The Court declined to make an order excluding these drivers from participation in the increased pay.
