NURSING CADETS.

GRAND PRIOR'S BADGES. The district officer of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, Mr. C. Lindesay, advises that grand prior'e badges have arrived for the following nursing cadets: —Joyce Goddard, Papatoetoe cadet nursing division; Vera D. Trebilcoe, Stella M. Grey, June V. Snelling, Valerie M. Sbanley, F. B. Horner, June I. Crawford, Ivy May Boots, Ailsa E. 1 Ruchbrooke, Dorothea Gyde, Josephine M. Brick and Olive A. King, all Te Areba nursing cadet division.' The grand prior's badge is the highest award a cadet can obtain and examinations in 12 subjects must, be passed before it is awarded. Successful cadets may < wear the badge on their uniform when they pass into the senior divisions of the brigade.
