The food richest in calcium is milk. Next are eggs, cereals, especially rice, and some vegetables, such as radishes, asparagus and spinach. Hard waters also supply calcium. An adult requires less calcium than- a growing child. Some diseases in later life are attributed to an excess of calcium in the diet. {
