WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist Issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to fresh south-westerly winds. A few passing showers still probable, but weather otherwise fair to fine and cool. Seas rather rough, but decreasing on the west coast, slight on the east coast. The recent depression was located near Chatham Island, while an anti-cyclone covers the north Tasman Sea.
