NO PARKING?

TRANSPORT BOARD PROBLEM. Parking arrangements at the Karangahape Road-Beresford Street intersection were referred to briefly at this morning's meeting of the Auckland Transport Bdard. The works committee recommended that it be suggested to the Auckland City Council that parking be prohibited in the vicinity of the present tram stop, and that if after a trial period improvement was not effected the board give further consideration to the council's proposal that the stop be removed and a safety zone be placed at the terminus in Beresford Street. It was decided to defer consideration for one month.
