KILLED INSTANTLY.
MAN STRUCK BY CAR. PALMEESTON NORTH, this day. A single man, Mr. George Rowland, aged 67, was killed instantly about 7 o'clock last night when he was struck by a car driven by Mr. Alfred Stewart, farmer, of Opiki, on the main road at Tiakitahuna.— (Press Assn.)
