HAMILTON STATE HOUSES.
HAMILTON, Friday. Eows of modem houses erected under the State housing scheme have transformed the former bare, sites at Hayes Paddock, Richmond Estate, and in the vicinity of Forest Lake Road and Norton Road, Hamilton, into pleasant residential areas. The largest of these new blocks is at Hayes Paddock, where there are 156 units under construction, as well as 24 already completed. Assuming an average of three persons to a house, this area will provide homes for 540 persons. . Providing accommodation for approximately 10S persons, 36 units have been completed at Richmond Estate, -while nine more are under construction. In the.Forest Lake Road area are 29 finished units; with yet to come, while 23 have been erectcd at Norton Road.
