CHURCH APPOINTMENTS.
DIOCESE OF AVCKUI&
Four clerical appointments ia th* Anglican Dioccs-e of Auckland have been announced.
The licv. Hopkins Sinclair, at. pW® vicar of Papakiira, has been appointed vicar of Takapuna. He was ordai*ri deacon iu 1929. and priest in 1930. He was stationed in Taranaki. and later Xpiruawahia. and Paparoa. He appointed vicar at Papnkura in 1936.
The Kw. M. Harcourt, Wybert, wf of Waimate Xorth, has l>een appointed to Birkenhead. He entered the at Christchurch five years ago, and *»* assistant curate at McrivaJe, Christchurch, before going to Waimate Xorth in W3S.
The vacancy at Waimate Xorth will be filled by the Rev. R. D. Lord, BA who was formerly, for many y«si*j * missionary in China. He came to Audiland last Januarv.
The Rev. .1. H. CiWp. vim at Hokaanga. has ixvn appointed priest i" cliarpr at. Avonoaic. H<- wu ordlisM in 1915. and since then has served i" the Auckland diocese at Mount Albert. Grey Lynn. Kingsland and Eokiang*-
