Mr.'F. H. Lcvion. S.M., returned to Auckland by the Limited express from The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates arrived from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. The Hon. B. C. Bobbins, M.L.C., returned from Wellington by the Limited express to-day. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, M.P., and Mr. Johannes C. -Anderson, have been appointed members of the Maori Purposes Board. Mr. IT. Hawke has been appointed postmaster at Cambridge in place of Mr. C. B. McNatty, who has been transferred to the Hamilton office. Major L. C. Forgle, accountant of the Centennial Exhibition Company, was appointed secretary of the company at a recent meeting of the directors. He takes the place of Colonel H. E. Avery, who resigned to take up a military appointment. The Rev. Howard K. Ilarkness, who has been supplying minister at the Dominion Road Methodist Church, has gone to Trentham mobilisation camp for service with the Y.M.G'.A. Mr. Harkness is the second minister the congregation has released for active service, the regular minister, the Rev. F. Gardner Brown, being with the Third Echelon. ,
