6/ 5 IS WHY IM BUYING A MORRIS EIGHT Firstly, I realise that the future position of New Zealand's new car stocks i 4 unpredictable, so I'm buying now and choosing the car that will be a real asset over the next few years. Secondly,'l'm choosing the car that will make the very smallest demand on petrol. This Morris Eight gives up to 50 miles per gallon, and just now, that's highly important. With a Morris, too, I'm getting the best in modern transportation. It has room to spare for four big people and that large exterior luggage boot will carry all the gear. In safety, no car can give me more; hydraulic brakes, safety glass and the low centre of gravity guarantee that. And with the 4-speed synchromesh gears and the lively BO b.h.p. engine, the Morris Eight will foot it with anything. The way she handles in traffic, the way she parks and manoeuvres, is a real joy. And then, my final reason ? Just the name. It strikes me that a car which has consistently outsold all competitors by such tremendous majorities a car which always commands such a high re-sale value, must be the % goods. So there you are. For its economy, value, and sheer intrinsic worth, my choice is a Morris Eight, fylaJlc. cJ&xice too- a MORRIS 8 4-Door Saloons £305 Sola NX Distributors: » THE DOMINION MOTONS LTD..
