TEL-AVIV ATTACKED. Parts Of New Jewish City Razed By Italians. United Press Association.—Copyright. (Reed. 11.30 a.m.) LOXDOX, Sept. 11. A message from Jerusalem says 112 persons were killed and 151 injured when enemy 'planes intensely raided Tel-Aviv. Bombs fell in a residential district, demolishing several houses and starting fires. A number were also killed and a number injured in an adjacent Arab village. An army communique issued at Cairo states: "More than 150 civilians, including five Arab children, were killed when Italian aeroplanes raided Tel-Aviv and the adjoining area, dropping bombs indiscriminately far from military objectives. Several houses were destroyed, but fires were quickly controlled." The Palestine wireless says it is believed that some Americans were killed in the raid on Tel-Aviv. British Patrol's Success. A Britieh patrol successfully engaged a party of Italian native troops at El Katulo. on the northern frontier of Kenya. A communique issued by Royal Air Force headquarters in Cairo states: "Our bombers on Monday successfully attacked aerodromes and harbours in eastern Libya. Two grounded enemy aeroplanes were destroyed by direct hits when the Derna aerodrome was raided. "In the £1 Gazala, Boma and El Timi areas, bombs fell among aeroplanes on slipways. "Columns of smoke 1500 ft high followed explosions after an attack on objectives in the Tobrnk, El Gabbi and El Aden areas. All our aeroplanes returned from nil these operations. "Enemy bombers raided Sidi Barani on Monday, but there were no casualties. "The Royal Air Force attacked Dessie, where military buildings were destroyed. Enemy fighters unsuccessfully attempted to intercept our machines. Asab, Massawa, Asmara, the Abd-el-Kader Peninsula and Metemme were all raided. One Caproni was shot down." A Rome communique states: "The Italian Air Force repeatedly attacked Solium, Sidi Barani and Mersa Matruh, bombed ana machine-gunned plants, army vehicles and troops. Considerable damage was observed. Our bombers ehot down -two British fighters. Two Italian 'planes are missing. "The enemy raided Bardia, Tobruk, Derna and Kassala, and considerably damaged non-military objectives. Thirteen persons were killed and 21 wounded."
