BUCKINGHAM PALACE BOMB BURSTS AFTER 36 HOURS.

(Reed. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept 11. Buckingham Palace has been damaged by a time bomb which fell on Sunday night and exploded fester day morning. It partly demolished a swimming pool and shattered nearly all the windows in the north wing. His Majesty was absent at the time of the explosion, and nobody was hurt. The bomb fell near the Belgian suite, occupied by King Haakon, of Norway. The bomb is believed to be a 250-pounder. It made a crater 10 feet deep by 20 feet wide, forcing up stone slabs on the terrace, and breaking the huge columns of the swimming pool building. Masonry was sent flying in the air and splintered glass fell on the wide green lawns. Small pieces of masonry fell on the roofs, and broken glass showered the picture gallery. The Chinese room Was slightly damaged. Their Majesties and Mr. Churchill yesterday inspected the damage. Workmen to-day are busy clearing up the debris.
