The Rev. R. B. Davk=on left by the afternoon express yesterday on his -way to Ohrietdhurch. Mr. XI. H. Wynyard. who recently underwent a elight operation in a private hospital, returned to hie home yesterday. Captain F. E. Webetsr left by train yesterday to enter camp at Trentham as eurgeon attached to the Seventh Field Ambulance. Mr. F. E. Dougall arrived from Wellington yesterday and left for Sydney by flying boat to-day. Wing-Commander A. King-Lewi*. Flight Lieutenant P. E. Hudson and Flight Lieutenant S. L. Gilkinson. of Wellington, are visiting Auckaud, and are at the Grand Hotel. Xlr. R. E. Price, chairman of the Waterfront Control Comiuiwiioii. Mr. J. Roberts. a member, and Mr. A. E. Brocket;, secretary, left by the Limited express last night for Wellington. Mr. T. A. Low and Mr. H. T. Thomas ■Will retire from the council of the Automobile Association (Auckland) at the end of the month. The resignations were received with regret at a meeting of the council last night.
