MAORI IN ACCIDENT. WELLINGTON, this day. The following casualty has been officially announced:—Private Tokena Pokai, aged 28, of the Maori Battalion, killed as a result of a motor accident on September 5. His sister is Miss Tipi Pokai, of Tikitik,i Ruatoria.—(Press Assn.)
