WEATHER FAVOURS U-BOATS. (Reed. 11 a.m.) . LONDOX, Sept. 10. Shipping losses due to enemy action for the week ended September 1 totalled 84.575 toiw, of which 11 ships, of 5(>,020 tons, were British, five ships, of 15,038 tons, Allied, and four ships, of 13,517 tons, neutral. The total loss exceeds the average weekly losses since the outbreak of war, .but is below the weekly • .'erase since May 27. The increased "-Vis' attributed to idearl weather •of : visibility, favouring U-boats.
