SOLDIER'S FUNERAL.
AIBCRAFTSMAJC BE VEBB. The funeral of Leading-Aircraftanu C;. \V. De Vere, who met his dp* Ik at the result of a fly in? accident at the Bell Block firing school, Xew Pivmonth, last Friday, took place at O'XeilisPoint Cemetery. North Shore, yesterday. It - was largely attended, the* mourners meluding pupils of the Takapoan Gran. mar School, the Takapuoa Prhnarr School, members of football dobs k the Xorth Shore district, boy scoots sal many personal friends, including ambers of the Royal Xew Zealand Air Force. The Be v. J. C. Draper hell a short service at Che Takaptxna Methodm Church, and the headmaster of Ike Takapuna Grammar School, Air. K. J. Dellow, gave a short address. The serviee at the graveside was conducted W Mr. Draper.
