RAIDS ON GERMANY. Stiil Talk Of . Reprisals On London. United Press Association.—Copyright. (Reed, noon.) LOXDOX, Sept. 9. The German radio, describing the Royal Air Force raid on Hamburg, says that 60 to 70 bombs fell, destroying 30 dwelling-houses. No military objectives were hit. The British also bombed residential districts at Kiel and Lueneburg. "The British Air Force is too weak and cowardly to meet the (Hermans in open battle and " restricts itself to defence and night attacks against Germany," said the announcer. A German High Command communique states: "Bomber formations, in spite of bad weather conditions, continued 'reprisals' against London. They were able to recognise targets from a great distance by the fires «til| burning. Bombs of all calibres were dropped on both sides of the Thames, ou docks, harbour works, oil depots, gas and electricity works and warehouses. Photographs from the air confirm the effectiveness of the previous attacks. "Wc also attacked several aerodromesi in the neighbourhood of Lincoln. "British 'planes attacked residential quarters at Hamburg and damaged several houses. Some civilians were injured. The enemy lost a total of 22 planes. Four of ouns are missing. "Bombs damaged a merchantman of SOOO tons in the Firth of Forth." The German news agency claims that a bomber considerably damaged installations at Woolwich vesterday afternoon, destroying a powder magazine, industrial plant* and the railwav station.
