COMPANY DIVIDENDS.
General Mestrles.—-The directors have declared a half-yearly dividend.of 3ft per cent on preference shares, and 5 per cent on ordinary shares. They wiu be payable en September 30. The dividends last year wore f per cent on the preference and 13 per coat on the ordinary shares. Wealwerth* (Victoria).—The directors have declared a dividend of 314 per cent on the preference shares, payable on October 15. A similar dividend was paid for the halt-year ended March
