DEVONPORT YACHT CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. OFFICERS FOB liMt-41. The annual meeting of the Devonpott Yacht Club was held last evening; in the clubhouse. Devonport, Mr. B. McCallum, rear-commodore, presiding. An apology was received from the retiring commodore. Mr. R. H. Duder, who submitted a report of the past year's activities which stated that, in spite of the weather, all fixtures were carried out successfully. Cash prizes for the four days' racing totalled £100. As the result of revenue from the slipway the club has a credit balance of £60 9/4. In addition the Duder Trust Fund has been restored to its original £150. Membership stands at 160, of whom 30 men are now serving their country. Forty yachts and motor boats are wintering on the club's grounds, and the plant Is in good order. The balance-sheet showed receipts totalling £485, Including last year's credits. The balance of asset* over liabilities stands at £SM. Th» following officers were elected for the coming season:—Patron, Mr. W. B. Darlow; president, Jfr. Geo. Trevethick; commodore. Mr. W. H. Oliver; vice-commodore, Mr. B. McCallum; rearcommodore. Mr. J. Logan; hon. secretary, Mr. L. y. Scott: hon. treasurer, Mr. J. Robinson; clubhouse captain, Mr. w. Potter; timekeeper and JtMter. Mr. 8. Juniors 1/. A motion by Mr. W. Laurie that the main skldway be extended 10ft was approved and recommended to the Incoming committee.
