"'-,-, ~ •'.■-. Joseph Goldsmith and a man named O'Regan also received slight injuries. The latter went back to the camp after treatment, at. the hospital, and Goldsmith was discharged to-day. This, is the-second accident that-has occurred from the handling of explosives on this work. - Only a few weeks ago one of the men was engaged heating the gelignite, when it exploded, and he was killed. The weather has been very cold at Waikaremoana, and this has necessitated the wanning of the explosive before use.
